1st March, 2002: Perth – Mandurah

We head 80kms south to Mandurah, largely a holiday destination for Perthites, to visit a friend who generously opened his house (overlooking the Peel Inlet) to us for a few days.

4th March, 2002: Mandurah – Baden Powell Pool (Lane Poole Conservation Park)
Camp next to the Murray River. Couple of days exploring including a paddle in our new dinghy. Plenty of swimming. Also visit Honeymoon Pool campground one of the days for lunch which is on the Collie River which has excellent swimming.
7th March, 2002: Baden Powell Pool – Cranebrake Pool (near the Margaret River)
Base camp where we explore the Margaret River region, including Meekadaribee Falls, Ellensbrook cottage, wineries, Cape Naturaliste, Bunker Bay and Shelley Cove.
